Strategic Marketing and Communications Liaison

Donna Ratner is the Co-Founder of Healthy Brands Collective, a co-op of healthy products that enhance the lifestyle of consumers seeking better nutrition through food. As a Certified Nutrition & Wellness Expert accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and a graduate of the Institute of Integrated Nutrition and Columbia University Teachers College, Donna’s mission is to “help nourish and educate people connecting body, mind & spirit with the power of nutrition.” Donna’s degree in Business and years of marketing experience with major television networks and entrepreneurial start-up companies helps her in overseeing HBC’s strategic direction of imaging, marketing execution, distribution, branding, promotions and new business development.

Earlier in her career, Donna was a founding member of the original team of five that formulated the National Marketing Department at MTV: Music Television and put MTV into 30,000,000 homes. During her five years there, she coordinated the original “I Want My MTV” advertising campaign, assisted in creating the national merchandising program and worked on notable projects such as “Spring Break Live,” “Live Aid,” and “Video Music Awards.” Donna also spent time working in production and marketing for CBS Sports and CBS Broadcast Group; and consulting and launching start-up companies such as LaVue, a Hospitality and Entertainment Venue; and Shenandoah Natural Beef, a free-range, organic farm in the Shenandoah Valley.

Committed to living a “going back to basics” organic lifestyle for the past 24 years, Donna has created a home and raises their three children consistent with the Healthy Brands Collective philosophy. In addition to her role at HBC, Donna works as a community advocate, volunteering her time educating children, adults and seniors on integrated nutrition.
